Digital Collections becomes Stibo DX

Digital Asset Management vendor Digital Collections (DC) will take the name of its owner, Stibo DX, from January 2021.

DC and Stibo DX are moving even closer together: from January 1, 2021, DC will change its company name to "Stibo DX". The step towards a unified company brand marks the final consolidation of the relationship between the parent company, Stibo DX, and its subsidiary, DC.

In April 2019, DC became a fully owned subsidiary of Stibo DX. However, the company continued to operate under its own brand. During the recent months, DC’s digital asset management system, DC-X, has been integrated into Stibo DX's CUE platform as a native component. As of January 2021, DC-X will change its product name to "CUE DAM".

Supporting digital transformation

"In the future, we want to support our customers even more in their digital transformation efforts. The native integration of the DAM system into our CUE platform provides a strong response to the challenges of digitalization. With DC as an integrated member of the Stibo DX family, we will continue to pool our innovative strength in the future," says Dan Korsgaard, CEO of Stibo DX.

The CUE digital asset management system combines the management of digital assets, such as photos, texts and videos, for all channels in one central system. External sources, such as RSS feeds or news agencies, are directly integrated into the content creation workflows of media professionals via the DAM.

With its DAM system, Stibo DX is reinforcing CUE’s position as the preferred publishing platform in the news media industry. Currently, CUE is gaining new market shares at a rapid pace, especially in the DACH region. Several of Germany’s largest news media companies, including Tagesspiegel, VRM, and NOZ are implementing Stibo DX’s CUE publishing platform as well as the DC-X/CUE DAM digital asset management system.

DC and Stibo DX recently moved into new offices together in famous Tanzende Türme building on Reeperbahn 1 in the center of Hamburg. As such, customers will now find DC and Stibo DX under one roof as well as one name.
