Since the foundation of Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie in 1794, there have been many significant milestones in our company’s development, but one stands above all: The establishment of the Stibo Foundation in 1966, which then assumed full ownership of the company.
This ownership has provided a basis for Stibo’s development from a medium-sized provincial printing company to a strong player in all its core areas, always adhering to our ‘book of rules’ which dictate that Stibo should be run with a long-term perspective, the absolute highest technical standard, and innovative leadership.
Stibo is organised in three independent companies:
Stibo Systems delivers software solutions which help many of the world’s largest companies to convert high data quality (MDM) into business benefits;
Stibo Complete is Scandinavia’s leading provider in the areas of developing, producing and distributing physical and digital marketing materials;
Stibo DX delivers software solutions to media and brand publishers all over the world.

Industrial and digital
It is very rare to find a company anywhere in the world that still does the same thing today that it started doing almost 230 years ago. But in fact, even though Stibo has delevoped it’s services again and again over the years, the core discipline of printing high quality publications and getting them in the hands of consumers, is still a major part of what we do.
Stibo Accelerator: Giving back
The Stibo Accelerator is a link between theory and reality, a driving force and a sense of community.
It’s a creative space where talented students, ambitious startups, and our own Stibo colleagues experiment and learn together with our customers and partners.
We have no legal ownership right to any projects or results. The Accelerator is a way for Stibo to return value to the academic institutions and the industries we are so closely related to and depend upon.
